Just realized that I haven't update my blog for three months already. Things happened everyday, yet sometimes it is difficult to keep track of the feeling and reflection of each incident. The shift from being a full-time student to a full-time employee is not as dramatic as I thought it would be. However, working is definitely more energy consuming than going to class, because there are slightly more responsibilities besides completing homework and taking midterms. Research has been enjoyable, sometimes one gets unexpected results, and that usually indicate something intersting is waiting to be discovered. Frustrations do take place when experiments failed trial after trial. Overall, I enjoy the work I am doing and I am looking forward to make some significant contributions to the project.

 

Sometimes I just wondered, is it possible to find a person who can read my mind, such as knowing where I wanted to go and what I wanted to say without me actually saying it. I wondered, is it possible to find a person who can finish my sentence without me even begin talking. I wondered if it is possible to find a person who can tolerate my nerdiness of linking everything to biology. I wonder if it is possible to find a person who can chat with me on the origin of universe and quantum physics during a casual conversation. I also wondered if it is possible to find a person who likes everything I do not like.

 

Sounds impossible, indeed it is not.
